Signs of Drug Activities
Gang activity and narcotics go hand-in-hand.
Know the warning signs of narcotics trafficking and "Crack" houses:
- Excessive foot traffic in the streets with subjects continually walking back and forth
- Areas where individuals wave down cars or flick cigarette lighters to attract attention, then approach the car
- Individuals frequenting a residence at all hours of the day or night
If you notice any of these signs, call 88-CRIME.
Know the possible symptoms of drug abuse:
- Change in school or work attendance or performance
- Alteration of personal appearance
- Sudden mood or attitude changes
- Withdrawal from family contacts
- Withdrawal from responsibility
- Unusual patterns of behavior
- Unusual weight loss or lethargy
