Online Registration for Continuing Students (2018-2019 School Year) - Now Available through ParentVUE

Parents and guardians of students who will be continuing at the same school will be able to complete registration for the 2018-2019 school year online through ParentVUE! This feature will be available starting Wednesday, March 7.

2018-19 School Pre-registration Information for Parents/Guardians

Online Registration - How To

As of March 7, 2018, parents and guardians of students continuing at the same school for the 2018-2019 school year can register online through ParentVue.

Online Registration Instructions (In PDF)

1. First, you’ll need a ParentVUE account.

  1. If you have children continuing in the same school for the 2018-2019 school year, you can complete their school registration online. All you need is a ParentVUE account. If you haven't set up that up yet (see ParentVUE Basics instructions), please visit your school as soon as possible to get an activation key. You'll need to take a picture ID.
  2. If you have children in multiple schools, you only need to visit one school to set up the ParentVUE account, and all their registrations can be completed in the same process.
  3. You do not have to complete the registration in one session. You can log out and resume where you left off when you log back in. You also have the option to start over. See Resume Registration/Start Over below.
  4. If you have questions, please visit your school office. There's also additional ParentVUE information online.

2. Online Registration: Getting started

  1. Log in to ParentVUE. In your Messages area, click the link for Online Registration that says Begin Registration.
  2. In the screen that appears, click Begin Pre-Registration.
  3. In the Introduction section, click Continue to proceed.
  4. Type your Electronic Signature. Must match the name on the account that appears in the greeting in upper right.
  5. Click Save and Continue.

3. Review, accept, or change information.

  1. Starting with the Family section, you will review, accept, or change information and click Save and Continue to proceed through the various screens and sections.
  2. The progress bar at the top will show you how much you have completed in each section.
  3. Each section title on the left also displays a checkmark after you complete it.
  4. If a screen indicates the status of a record is In Progress, you will need to edit it so that the Status changes to Complete. You also have the option to Exclude or Delete the record.
  5. You cannot proceed to the next section until all items have the status of Complete.
  6. To move forward, click Save and Continue.
  7. To move backwards, click Previous.

4. TUSD information release

Indicate if you want your child excluded from directories, photos, or interviews. When selecting these options, please be aware of the following:
  • Exclude from Non-TUSD Directory Lists: If selected, this opts your child out of contact from both military and academic institutions.
  • Exclude from TUSD Photos and Interviews: If selected, this opts your child out of the school yearbook.

5. Upload required documents

You will need to provide a document to verify your address. In the Documents Section, you can upload an electronic file for address verification or check I will deliver a hard copy to the school instead of uploading it. Any of the following documents that indicate your name and address will work:
  • Valid Arizona Driver's license
  • Arizona identification card
  • Valid Arizona motor vehicle registration
  • Property deed
  • Mortgage documents
  • Property tax bill
  • Rental agreement or lease (including Section 8 agreement)
  • Utility bill (water, electric, gas, cable, phone)
  • Bank or credit card statement
  • W-2 wage statement
  • Payroll stub
  • Certificate of tribal enrollment or other identification issued by a recognized Indian tribe
  • Other documentation from a state, tribal, or federal agency (Social Security Administration, Veterans' Administration, Arizona Department of Economic Security)

6. Review/submit: Finishing

  1. In the Review/Submit section, the status should be Ready to Submit for all students being registered.
  2. To review and edit, just click Review.
  3. Review Before Submitting: Be sure to review before submitting.
  4. All the information appears in a scrollable screen. Any changes you made from existing information is highlighted.
  5. To make a change, click Edit for that section. You'll be taken back to the data entry screen for that section. Make your edits and click Save and Continue.
  6. You can also click Print from the Review screen to print a copy.
  7. When you are done, click Done.
  8. If you're ready to submit, click Submit. If you are not ready to submit, you can log out and return when you're ready to complete the process.
  9. When you click Submit, a confirmation appears allowing you to click OK or Cancel.
  10. Finally, you'll see a Successful Completion message.
  11. If you click Status, you can see the status of the registration.

7. Resume registration or start over

  • If you log out before completing the registration, your information is saved from the last point you saved.
  • When you log in again, you'll have the option to Resume Registration where you left off.
  • Or, you can Start Over.

  • Paper option for registering continuing students
    If you don't wish to use the online registration for your continuing student, you can use the Paper Process. You'll find the forms and information you need at the Paper Registration Process page.

Required Documents - Upload or Deliver

  • Reaffirmation of Residency
    When you complete registration for continuing students, you must provide one reaffirmation of residency to establish your residence in a designated attendance area, the district's boundaries or the state. When registering online, you can upload or deliver to the school any of the following documents that indicate your name and address. If registering in person, bring a copy or the original of any of the following with you:
    • Valid Arizona Driver's license
    • Arizona identification card
    • Valid Arizona motor vehicle registration
    • Property deed
    • Mortgage documents
    • Property tax bill
    • Rental agreement or lease (including Section 8 agreement)
    • Utility bill (water, electric, gas, cable, phone)
    • Bank or credit card statement
