Twelve TUSD Students Awarded Research Internships with UA KEYS Program

The University of Arizona KEYS Research Internship surprised twelve talented and hardworking Tucson Unified students with an acceptance letter to their summer program. We are very proud that our district has the most students accepted into this highly competitive UA summer program.

KEYS is a unique summer opportunity for motivated Arizona High School students to participate in a six-week internship program for students with a strong interest in bioscience, engineering, environmental health, or biostatistics. Students work side-by-side with top faculty gaining experience through hand-on projects in University of Arizona laboratories.
