TUSD High Schools Receive CPR Kits

Date issued: December 12, 2018

Every TUSD high school has received a CPR kit. Beginning July 1, 2019, all high schools are required to provide high school students with one or more cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training sessions.

The American Heart Association donated CPR Training Kits to empower students to learn the core skills of CPR. Students will learn the core skills of CPR, choking relief, and AED skills, all in one class period. This easy-to-use educational kit developed by the American Heart Association is designed to specifically meet the needs of schools. It is portable and reusable, allowing for easy storage and convenient transportation from classroom to classroom.
