Students from Pueblo and Cholla join Congressman Raul Grijalva at Saguaro National Park

National Park Services begin year-long preparations for 100th birthday celebration in August 2016


On Founder's Day, the celebration of the National Park Service's birthday, students from Cholla and Pueblo magnet high schools joined Congressman Raul Grijalva to tour the park. This Founder's Day is special, as it marks the National Park Service's 99th birthday and a year-long kick-off for the 100th birthday celebration on August 25, 2016.

During the park visit, Congressman Grijalva stressed the value of Saguaro National Park as being the biggest park close to a city the size of Tucson.
