Musicians at Rincon and Sahuaro work with award-winning composer

On November 3, 2015, orchestra students at Rincon and Sahuaro high schools participated in composition clinics with composer Takuma Itoh, currently visiting the Tucson Symphony Orchestra as part of a Music Alive residency. The Music Alive program is designed to connect composers with the orchestras that play their music. At the clinic, musicians at these two TUSD high schools were able to learn from an award-winning young composer whom the New York Times has called "brashly youthful and fresh."
