Hollinger students pledge to be drug-free during Red Ribbon Week

Hollinger K-8 School celebrated Red Ribbon Week with an assembly for their 3-8th grade students on October 30. Pueblo Magnet High School students came to support the Hollinger students with the PHMS Cheer Squad, the Marching Band and Mariachi Aztlan. Hollinger pledged to be a drug-free campus at an assembly which was a culmination of a week of activities that included art, poetry, class projects, writing original songs and guest speakers. A former teacher described losing her grandson to a drunk driving accident and two students spoke about family members who succumbed to drugs and alcohol.
