C. E. Rose honor roll students recognized for their success

The Tucson Unified School Safety officers helped coordinate a special assembly for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade honor roll students at C. E. Rose K-8 School. The students were recognized for making both honor roll and honor roll gold. The students walked a red carpet, complete with runway lights, through a reception line where they shook the hands of their administrators. At the end of the handshake line, City of Tucson Ward 5 Council Member Richard Fimbres congratulated the students. Fimbres bestowed an Outstanding Community Service award upon C. E. Rose principal Stephen Trejo in recognition of the cards that students created for our nation's veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
