Ochoa Magnet to receive fruit trees on Arbor Day

Posted April 17, 2014

On Arbor Day, April 25, students at Ochoa Magnet school will help plant three fruit trees in the school's community garden.

Ron Wolcott of Arizona Tree Service and Landscaping, who is a longtime friend and supporter of Ochoa, has donated these trees to the children and families of the school. He will visit the school on the morning of Arbor Day to deliver the trees and plant them with students. These living gifts will benefit the school community with shade and fruit for years to come.
