Tucson Unified schools and their communities spread cheer

Several organizations and community groups have taken the time this holiday season to give back to our Tucson Unified schools. Our entire district, students, staff, and administrators would like to recognize the generosity being shown to our schools and say thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you from all of us!

Bonillas Basic Curriculum Magnet School has received a tremendous amount of support and generosity this holiday season from the community and various organizations to help with their efforts to support those in need. Bonillas students and staff donated food to put together a total of 14 food boxes for families in need.

Sienna Ridge Apartments, which is home to several Bonillas families, also donated food for food boxes. Staff at Sienna Ridge also held a sock drive and donated socks to the school's clothing closet. The Knights of Columbus Chapter was also very generous with Bonillas. The organization donated 12 winter coats for students as well as 11 holiday food boxes. Lastly, a Bonillas parent who works for Springfield Financial Services was able to organize a shoe donation for students. Bonillas is incredibly grateful for the generosity that has been shown to their community and students this holiday season, and would especially like to recognize the following individuals:
