Great things happen at TUSD schools! The Communications & Media Relations Department helps share the news about the many successes at TUSD. Through Focus on TUSD, press releases, and the story budgets, we share district information with parents, staff, the media, and the community. If you work at TUSD and would like to have your story included in one of these outlets, complete an online tip sheet.

Our Services

Our department provides a range of services for the district. We produce publications, news releases, and videos. We photograph students, staff, and facilities. We develop marketing plans. We design, maintain, and update the district's web site and intranet. We operate TED-TV. We also handle public information requests, and we are the contact point for the media.

Communicating Effectively

Communications & Media Relations staff is responsible for communicating effectively with TUSD constituents. We believe effective communication:

• is a two-way process involving internal and external audiences.
• serves and supports schools.
• is the responsibility of each TUSD employee.
