Buildings & Grounds

The Buildings & Grounds Department supports the delivery of educational services to Tucson's children by providing maintenance and improvements for all TUSD facilities and training for site personnel. We will continue to focus on accomplishing our primary objectives of Accountability, Productivity, and Positive Imaging by fostering a partnership with teachers, parents and the greater community, to assure that each pre-K through 12th grade student receives an engaging, rigorous, and comprehensive education conducive for learning in a SAFE and SANITARY environment.

Nearly half of the employees at Facilities Management are managed and supervised beneath the umbrella of the Buildings and Grounds Department: Our tasks are enormous but attainable. The flow chart below will assist sites with assuring that services needed are directed to the appropriate department for a timely response.
