Department Mission

To assist our district administrators in maintaining a safe, secure, and peaceful environment conducive to teaching and learning. To enforce board policies, regulations, and state statutes, when applicable.

The responsibility of the Department of School Safety encompasses a wide variety of services involving safety and security-related issues and concerns, from the physical security of the school buildings and grounds to violence-prevention efforts. Special units and programs are available in fulfilling this mission.

The Department of School Safety is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

To make an anonymous report regarding any on-campus concerns, such as weapons, fights, graffiti, truancy, assaults, drugs, violence, gangs, confrontations, non-students, etc., call the Safe-T-Zone Anonymous Tip Line at 584-7680.

Call 7 Days a Week

Reports can also be made directly to the Department of School Safety Office, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week at 520-584-7676.
