Students learn about science by exploring the world around them.

Goals:

• Support effective and equitable science education with Standard-Based Curriculum.
• Provide Professional Development to ensure a highly qualified work force.

The Regional Science Center:

• Serves over 60,000 K-8 students with curriculum and materials.
• Refurbishes, picks up and delivers 4,000 Science kits per rotation to approximately 135 elementary and middle schools.
• Purchases over 2,500 items in bulk for refurbishment.
