Schools
Information
All TUSD magnet schools and desegregation schools are now open to all students without regard to ethnicity, as long as there is space.
Bus transportation will be provided only to Magnet School programs and to your neighborhood boundary schools based on distances from your home as indicated in Policy 3340.
To check on the space available for a specific grade level at a school, call the Welcome Center at 225-6400.
See the list of OMA elementary schools and OMA middle schools, sortable by ZIP code.
Use the School Choice application. Fill it out and bring it, or mail it, to the Welcome Center, 75 N. Park, Tucson, AZ, 85719.

Lists of elementary, middle, and high schools are found on the schools page. The links take you to the profile pages for the school.
You can find the email links for school principal email addresses on the schools page, leadership directory, and the sortable lists of schools. TUSD uses the format of firstname.lastname@tusd1.org for email addresses.
Middle and high schools are mostly staffed through the summer break, but major building work is usually scheduled for this period. Elementary schools are not staffed for the summer, so arrangements would have to be made through the Welcome Center at 225-6400. During the regular school year, it is still a good idea to call the school for a tour appointment. You can look up the phone numbers of all schools on the schools page.
