Schedule and Process for Boundary Changes
The schedule for the boundary process is as follows:
Week of Jan. 7: Principals and site councils meet and suggest community participants to be involved in the process.
Jan. 14-17: Regional boundary committees meet.
Jan. 22-30: Regional public meetings will be held in affected neighborhoods to facilitate the boundaries and transition process.

Jan. 31-Feb. 5: A second round of meetings will be held to solicit recommendations on the process and making improvements to receiving schools.
Feb. 12: The Governing Board will consider boundaries and construction contracts on receiving schools.
Federal court decision should come 60-90 days after the Governing Board approves the boundaries.
All landowners in affected areas will be notified about school closure and new boundaries, in addition to transportation information and enrollment options for receiving schools.
