EMERGENCY/CRISIS PROCEDURES

BOARD POLICY 1450

The safety of students, employees and community members is an essential concern in the District. All persons are prohibited from carrying or possessing a weapon on school grounds except peace officers and District security personnel who have specific written authorization from the Superintendent or his/her designee.

Clear, current, specific emergency procedures shall be published and available to all employees. Emergency procedures information shall be available for review by students, parents and community members.
