  • To the University of Arizona for the 9th Street Parking lot, (extension of Lease Agreement No. 286) with authorization for the Executive Manager of Fiscal and Operational Support to extend the lease for an additional five years
  • For space at 75 and 77 N. Park Avenue, TUSD Welcome Center with the authorization for the Executive Manager of Fiscal and Operational Support to negotiate and execute a five-year lease for continued use

Granted easements:

  • Right-of-Way easement to Tucson Electric Power Company, Cholla High Magnet School
  • Telecommunications easement to Southwestco Wireless, L.P. Whitmore Elementary School, with authorization for the Director of Risk Management and Safety Services to negotiate and execute a five-year agreement

Awarded Bid No. 6640 - TUSD Food Services cold storage facility to Sundance Construction Company, Inc.

Ratified salary and non-salary vouchers for the period beginning May 5, 1998 and ending June 1, 1998

Approved authorization for Governing Board Member(s) to attend the Council of Urban Boards of Education Meeting, Denver, Colorado, June 23-30, 1998
