    2. US Department of Education: Middle School Drug Prevention and School Safety Program Coordinators
  • Approved Agreements:
    1. Intergovernmental Agreement between TUSD and the City of Tucson, CDBG for Manzo Elementary School Community Park Garden Project
    2. Cooperative State Purchase Agreement between TUSD and the State of Arizona
    3. Agreement with Kaufman & Broad of Arizona concerning improvements and easements located at Dunham Elementary School and TUSD vacant site # XX
    4. Intergovernmental Agreement between TUSD and the Arizona Department of Economic Security Rehabilitation Services Administration for Habitat for Humanity house, Howenstine campus, with authorization for the Superintendent to execute the Agreement
  • Appointed a Replacement Member to the East Growth Task Force
  • Granted a right-of-way license to Pima County Department of Transportation and Flood Control District for road and bus bay improvements at Secrist Middle School
  • Awarded Request for Proposals (RFP)
    1. RFP No. 232-Open-end contracts for Professional Architectural Services to Durrant, Earl Kai Chann Associates Ltd., Hanson Group Architects Inc., Sakellar Associates Architects & Planners Inc., Swaim Associates Ltd., and The I.E.F. Group Inc.
    2. RFP No. 6651 Point of Service Systems for Food Services to SNAP Systems
  • Approved plans and specifications for Central Plant Equipment Replacement, Cholla High Magnet School, with authorization to advertise for sealed bids
  • Approved ratification of salary and non-salary vouchers for the period beginning July 1, 1999 and ending July 31, 1999

  • Approved Modification of the original sales contract with Pepper-Viner Co. concerning TUSD's Site No.95 (Pima County Tax Parcel No. 114-46-0230)
