Focus on TUSD - June 2007

Appointments Made for Exceptional Education and Maldonado
The TUSD Governing Board made these appointments at its June 12 meeting:

• Mary Mercado is the new principal at Maldonado Elementary School. She was previously the instructional coach at the school.
• Terri Polan is a new assistant director in Exceptional Education. She was previously an interim assistant director in that department.
• Darleen Sithole is also a new assistant director in Exceptional Education. She was previously an ombudsperson in that department.
