Tutors Needed
Focus on TUSD - September 2007Tutors Needed for OASIS Program Training and materials will be provided as well as on-going support. No teaching experience is needed. Training will be Oct. 10 and 11 from 10:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at the OASIS office located on the third-floor of the Macy's department store at the El Con Shopping Mall, 3435 E. Broadway. Adult volunteers
to serve as OASIS tutors are needed in TUSD to spend one hour a
week helping children build reading and language skills, self-esteem
and positive attitudes toward school.
