Governing Board Elects New President and Clerk

TUSD’s Governing Board elected Adelita Grijalva as Board President and Alex Rodriguez as Board Clerk during its organizational meeting held Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the TUSD Governing Board meeting room, 1010 E. 10th St.

Ms. Grijalva takes over for Bruce Burke who served as President from January 2005 through December 2005. Elected to the TUSD Governing Board in November 2002, she had previously served as Board Clerk beginning in January 2005. Mr. Rodriguez was elected to the TUSD Governing Board in November 2004.
