TUSD Holds Two Public Hearings 
Regarding Keen Students' Relocation

The Keen Elementary School Student Relocation Committee will hold two public hearings: Jan. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Palo Verde Magnet High School in the auditorium, 1302 S. Avenida Vega; and Jan. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Naylor Middle School in the cafeteria, 1701 S. Columbus Blvd. 

The committee will present their progress and ask parents and community members for input and recommendations. Community members and parents can call Michele Gutierrez at 225-6532 for more information.

Consisting of parents, educators, community members, and TUSD support staff, the committee has been meeting since Sept. to decide on the placement of Keen Elementary School’s approximately 370 students. The school is slated to close at the end of the 2003-2004 school year.
