TUSD will host the 12th Annual Teaching and Technology Conference: 21st Century Skills from
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 31 at Tucson High Magnet
School, 400 N. Second Ave.
The conference, open to all kindergarten through 12th grade educators, will feature two nationally known keynote speakers, Ken Kay and Dr. Annette Lamb. Kay, founder of Infotech Strategies, Inc., has been a major voice in defining the potential and promoting the importance of information technology applications in education. Lamb, a visiting professor at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, has presented throughout North America on ways to more effectively integrate technology into the classroom.
In addition to keynote speakers, the conference will consist of three breakout sessions with over 70 presenters, an available lunch and continental breakfast, and exhibitor booths. Last year over 400 educators attended. The cost is $15 for AzTEA members and $40 for non-members.
The conference is sponsored by TUSD, the University of Arizona’s College of Education, the Arizona Technology Education Alliance, and Amphitheater School District. Community members interested in further information and online registration can go to
