12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at the site located on Kleindale east of
Alvernon.
Ten students will “break ground” with gold shovels. Brief speeches will be given by former TUSD Board member and Davidson alumni Mary Belle McCorkle, TUSD Superintendent Roger Pfeuffer, and TUSD Governing Board President Bruce Burke.
The new school building is a collaborative effort between TUSD and Summit Development Group. The design was developed by Burns Wald-Hopkins Architects with Concord Companies providing the construction management. The new school building will replace the current facility which opened in 1914. The new school is slated to open during the 2005-2006 school year.
