Golf Tournament to Benefit Sahuaro Marching Band

Marching band members from Sahuaro High School, 545 N. Camino Seco, hope to raise $3,500 at the second annual Sahuaro High School Band Four Man Scramble Golf Tournament that begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Dell Urich golf course located at 600 S. Alvernon Way.

Tournament and raffle prizes include a 2005 Jeep Liberty and a two day golf vacation at the Fairmont Pierre Marques in Germany. Proceeds will be used to send Sahuaro students to summer band camp at Camp Montlure in Greer Arizona. 

Registration for the event costs $85 per individual or $340 per foursome and includes green fees, a golf cart, two drink tickets, a steak luncheon and a gift bag. The cost to have a promotional sign on a tee or green is $125. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $2 each. Deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on Feb. 4. To register call Shelly Dillon at 886-2589.
