School Council Forum

Nearly 300 Tucson educators, students, parents and community members are expected to attend the School Council Forum to discuss the importance of school site councils on public education at from
8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21 in the
Tucson High Magnet School Auditorium, 400 N. Second Ave.
The forum will feature a keynote speech by Congressman Raul Grijalva on the importance of a shared decision-making process in the public school setting. Other events include a panel discussion on “Why School Councils Matter” and breakout sessions in which participants will share school council experiences. A continental breakfast will be provided.
