Judge To Honor Magee Student Artists at Reception

Presiding Juvenile Court Judge Hector Campoy will award certificates to 29 art students from Magee Middle School, 8300 E. Speedway Blvd, at an artist reception from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Feb. 17 at the school.

The students, along with their teachers Mike Ewing and Ellen Sears, will be honored for having their artwork and their accompanying essays displayed Feb. 14 through April 28 at the Pima County Superior Court's Juvenile Courthouse Gallery, 2225 E. Ajo Way.

Middle and high school art shows will continue to be held at the Courthouse Gallery throughout the school year. The displays showcase student work from all the high schools and middle schools on a rotating basis.
