Menlo Park Elementary Students to Begin Oral History Project

Menlo Park Elementary School, 1100 W. Fresno, in partnership with the Arizona State Museum, will host a Family Night program to launch the school’s oral history project from 5:45-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the school cafeteria.

The school has invited members of the Menlo Park community to attend the event to share their stories, historic photographs and artifacts with students, who will conduct the oral history interviews for a student publication.

Prior to the oral history interviews at 7 p.m., the evening will include a brief PTO meeting at 6 p.m. followed by a presentation by Desert Archaeology about the Rio Nuevo Project at 6:30 p.m.
