TUSD Holds Kindergarten Pre-Registration

Parents can pre-register their children for kindergarten at numerous TUSD elementary schools during TUSD’s Kindergarten Roundup March 1 through 12. 

During the Roundup parents and community members can fill out an information request form at their local elementary school. Interested parents will then receive a mailed invitation to attend a pre-registration day at the school, when parents can complete the registration process by providing their child’s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. Parents can check in during the August registration for the name of the child’s teacher and classroom number. During the Kindergarten Roundup, individual schools may also hold events such as a classroom visit to familiarize parents with the school. Any child who will be five on or before Aug. 31, 2004 must be enrolled in school for the 2004-2005 year.
