Gallery to Feature Tucson High Student Artwork

A collection of artwork by students of Tucson High Magnet School will be on display
March 5 through April 16 from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Wednesdays, at the G.A.S.P. Gallery located at Utterback Magnet Middle School, 3233 S. Pinal Vista.
Included in the show will be self-portraits and mixed media works. In addition, collotype prints, which use a glass plate with a gelatin surface to reproduce images.
Utterback is a TUSD magnet school with a focus on the creative and performing arts. Fifteen students assume the responsibilities of curator, registrar, security, docent, installer, and publicist run the G.A.S.P. Gallery, which stands for Great Art by Students and Professionals. Art instructor Linda Poverman leads the project.
