TUSD Holds Kindergarten Pre-Registration

Parents are invited to pre-register their children for kindergarten at scores of TUSD elementary schools during TUSD’s Kindergarten Roundup taking place over March and April. 

During the Roundup parents and guardians can call or visit their neighborhood school to obtain school-specific kindergarten program and registration information. Individual schools may hold events such as a classroom visit to familiarize parents with the school. This year’s school-specific events include the following:

Robins Elementary School, 3939 N. Magnetite
3/16 (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Parents and children will gather in the library to meet the kindergarten teachers. Following this the teachers will engage in an early literacy activity with the prospective students while the parents learn about education topics including academic success indicators, the benefits of attending Robins, and registration procedures. They will also have the opportunity to meet school faculty including the principal, nurse and counselor. Registration materials will be accepted at the event.
