Sun Tran To Recognize Wakefield Student at Science Awards Night

Sun Tran officials will recognize Wakefield Middle School student Carlos Alfredo "Freddy" Lara and his winning project at the school's Science Awards Night at 6:30 p.m. March 27 at the school's multipurpose center, 101 W. 44th St.

Freddy's science project studied the reliability of Sun Tran transportation and determined that the organization was a reliable means of transportation. Sun Tran representatives will provide gift bags for all the school's families.

Sun Tran is the primary provider of public transportation in the Tucson Metropolitan area. More than 60,000 riders use Sun Tran to reach their destinations every day. The organization is committed to providing reliable, affordable, safe and accessible service to all riders in our 196.966 square mile service area.
