A check for $950 to purchase camera equipment to benefit special education students will be presented by Intuit representatives to staff and students at 11 a.m. March 30 at Myers Ganoung Elementary School, 1695 N. Country Club.

Intuit selected the school for this donation after its Special Licensing Group manager Marak Finchem learned about the school through the Pantano Christian Church. Mr. Finchem along with the company’s We Care and Give Back committee raised the funds as part of a special challenge to employees. Myers-Ganoung staff will use the funds to purchase a digital camera and a printer which will be used to help teachers communicate with speech impaired students.
