Tucson, Arizona – March 29, 2006 – The OMA Showcase 2006 will be on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Sahuaro High School Auditorium from 3:00 – 5:30 pm. The Showcase Concert features many OMA Artists, Teachers and Students from the 30 schools that now have some portion of the OMA Program. This year we will be honoring OMA Project Coordinator for the past 3 years, Carolyn Kemmeries. After the concert, a balloon marked path leads patrons to the Fine Arts Department’s Artsmobile (a traveling museum) on their way to a “Meet The Artist” Reception in the Cafeteria. At the reception, delectable delights from many of Tucson’s favorite eateries will be served, including Café Terra Cotta, Feast, Blue House Catering, and Lerua’s. TUSD’s Middle School Honor Orchestra will play music for our ears, while patrons peruse the art of various talented students. Tickets are $35.00 each for concert and reception. All proceeds will go to the OMA Foundation in support of the OMA Program.
