Davidson Holds New School Meeting

Parents and interested community members can learn about the future site and buildings of Davidson Elementary School, 3915 E. Fort Lowell Rd., at an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7 in the school's cafeteria.

Architects from Burns Wald-Hopkins will present the site plan and a model of the new school buildings. They will show and discuss traffic patterns, parking, bus drop-offs, driveways, and the two new roads that will be created.

City councilwoman Carol West will attend as well as Davidson principal Arthur DeFilippo. The new school building will be a modern replacement to the current structure. It is slated to open October 2005.
