Parents and interested community members can learn about
the future site and buildings of Davidson Elementary School,
3915 E. Fort Lowell Rd., at an informational meeting at 6:30
p.m. on Wednesday, April 7 in the school's cafeteria.
Architects from Burns Wald-Hopkins will present the site
plan and a model of the new school buildings. They will show
and discuss traffic patterns, parking, bus drop-offs, driveways,
and the two new roads that will be created.
City councilwoman Carol West will attend as well as Davidson
principal Arthur DeFilippo. The new school building will be
a modern replacement to the current structure. It is slated
to open October 2005.
