Rincon/University High Celebrate Remodeled

The Patrons of Fine Arts at Rincon/University High School, 421 N. Arcadia Blvd.,
will celebrate the grand opening of the schools newly remodeled auditorium with a
black tie-optional gala at 7 p.m. Saturday April 13. Donations will be accepted to
help promote fine arts education at TUSD.
"A Formal Evening of the Arts" will feature performances by several student
groups, including the jazz band, orchestra, chorus and dance ensembles. Refreshments will
be served on the patio after the performance.
Renovations to the auditorium include new wall panels, refurbished seats, new
carpeting, an extended stage/performance area, and installation of state-of-the-art sound
and lighting systems.
Guests are invited to become charter members of the Rincon/University High School
Patrons of Fine Arts by "purchasing" an auditorium seat for $100, which also
entitles them to have their names engraved and displayed on a plaque in the auditorium
lobby.
