A collection of artwork by students of Utterback Middle Magnet
School will be on display April 26 through May 13 from 9 a.m.
to 3:45 p.m. weekdays, and from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Wednesdays,
at the G.A.S.P. Gallery located at Utterback Magnet Middle
School, 3233 S. Pinal Vista.
The annual spring student art show is free to the public
and will include portraits, paintings, prints, drawings, and
oil pastels.
Utterback is a TUSD magnet school with a focus on the creative
and performing arts. Fifteen students assume the responsibilities
of curator, registrar, security, docent, installer, and publicist
run the G.A.S.P. Gallery, which stands for Great Art by Students
and Professionals. Art instructor Linda Poverman leads the
project.
