The students are being recognized for their academic efforts during the first semester of this school year. “We hope this reward will encourage them and other students finish the year strong as well as encourage students to excel next year,” said Howenstine principal Jimmy Hart. The school has a student population of 179.
The Limo, an Excursion, is being provided at discounted rate by Lancelot Limos and paid for by the Howenstine Parent Teacher Club. TGI Friday’s is providing a discounted lunch that is being paid for by Hart.
