Do you have friends and colleagues who would like to work for Tucson Unified School District, which begins the 2008-2009 school year on Monday, August 11?

If so, let them know about the "Last Call" Job Fair on Wednesday, July 23, from 2-5 p.m. in the cafeteria at Mansfeld Middle School, 1300 E. Sixth St. Interviews will be held on-site for the following positions:

Tucson Unified is the largest public school district in Pima County. The enrollment for the 2007-2008 school year was approximately 58,000 students. Tucson Unified has 73 elementary schools, 21 middle schools, 11 high schools and 13 alternative educations schools/programs – all offering different learning experiences for students.

Specialties offered in Tucson Unified schools include allied health; back-to-basics traditional education; communications; math and science; bilingual education; engineering; culinary arts, aviation; law; public safety; service learning; Arabic instruction; Mandarin Chinese instruction, as well as Spanish, French, Russian, German, English, Latin and American Sign Language; and visual and performing arts. An International Baccalaureate program will start this school year at Cholla Magnet High School.
