UHS Invites Eighth-graders To Take Entrance Exam

University High School, 421 N. Arcadia Blvd., is inviting eighth-grade students throughout Tucson to take its annual entrance exam which will be conducted from
Oct. 14 through Dec. 4 at all TUSD middle schools. Testing for non-TUSD students will be held on
Oct. 14 in the school’s cafeteria. Deadline for application submission to University High School is
4 p.m. Oct. 6, 2005.
All TUSD eighth-grade students will receive an application for admissions testing form in the mail or may request a form through their middle school counselor. Parents of interested students who attend non-TUSD schools but reside within the district’s boundaries can call the UHS Assistant Principal’s office at 232-5907 for a form or more information. Students who reside outside TUSD’s boundaries may also contact this office for an application form.
University High School offers an all-honors academic program including 19 advanced placement classes, a strong foreign language program, and an elective social studies program, a humanities option for ninth graders, and superior music and dance programs.
