An exhibit of artwork by students at Project M.O.R.E., 440 S. Park, will be on display at The Pima County Courthouse Gallery, 110 W. Congress St., beginning Sept. 28. A dedication ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28.

Led by teacher Marlys Duchene, nine students will exhibit a variety of artwork, including pencil and pen and ink drawings, paintings and mixed media work representing a range of artistic styles. Some of the work reflects the artists’ attempts to cope with their environment and individual desires.

Project M.O.R.E. offers an alternative high school experience for students in grades 9-12. Project M.O.R.E.’s mission is to provide a supportive community where students develop academic mastery, generosity, independence and a sense of belonging. Special programs include individualized instruction, computer-assisted instruction and community mentorships.
