The American Library Association has selected the science project web site created Joan
Tindell, a science teacher at Naylor Middle School, 1701 S. Columbus Blvd., for
inclusion in its "Great Web Sites for Kids" website.
Tindells website, titled "The Kids Guide to Science Projects,"
offers information on science project ideas, helpful links, and sample projects created by
her students. Her website can be found at http://edweb.tusd.k12.az.us/jtindell/index.html.
It was one of 11 sites chosen nationwide as a September 2002 Great Web Site for Kids
addition.
"Great Web Sites for Kids" are those considered the best web sites for ages
birth to 14, outstanding in both content and conception. These sites exhibit commendable
qualities and also reflect and encourage young peoples interests in exemplary ways.
