Reynolds Students to Explore Future Careers

Fourth- and fifth-grade students at Reynolds Elementary School, 7450 E. Stella Rd., will explore their future career options at the school’s Career Day, to be held from 8-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Arizona Daily Star editorial cartoonist David Fitzsimmons will headline the presentations to students, along with Capt. Mark Holmes of the Tucson Fire Department, Officer Cheryl Williams of the Tucson Police Department, Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum herpetologist Craig Ivanyi, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steven Shapiro and City Council member Shirley Scott.

Other area professionals on hand to help students plan for their futures will include athletes from the University of Arizona, artists, military personnel from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and dental and other medical professionals.
