Students at Cavett Elementary School, 2125 E. Naco Vista Dr., will join with officers from the Tucson Police Department in an anti-drug sing-along at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Oct. 30, in the school cafeteria.

School Resource Officers Boone and Suarez will lead the students in the singing of popular songs with revised lyrics that reflect a drug-free message. Afterwards, students will tie red ribbons on the playground fence in honor of Red Ribbon Week.

Red Ribbon Week (celebrated by most district schools Oct. 22-26) is a grassroots anti-drug education campaign commemorating the late DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who lost his life in the fight against drugs.
