Holladay Students to Celebrate 50

Fifth-grade students at Holladay Fine Arts Magnet School, 1110 E. 33rd
St., will stage two 45-minute productions of "Our Nifty 50 United States" at
10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the school auditorium. Admission is free,
and the public is invited to attend.
"Our Nifty 50 United States," complete with scenery and costumes, traces the
history of the United States through music, dance, art and drama. From the opening number
of "50 Nifty United States" through to the closing "This Land is Your
Land," the educational and entertaining production recounts our countrys
history from the Revolutionary War to the present.
Holladay Fine Arts Magnet School combines academics, physical education, technology,
cooperative learning and multicultural education with an emphasis on the visual and
performing arts to provide students with lifelong skills that prepare them to become
productive and contributing members of society.
