Finalists Selected for 76/Circle K Teacher of the Year Program

Nine teachers have been selected as finalists for the seventh annual 76/Circle K Outstanding High School Faculty Awards Program. One finalist will be selected as the program's Teacher of the Year at a banquet dinner on March 7 at the Eddie Lynch Athletics Pavilion on the UA campus and during the UA men's basketball game on March 8.
The awards program honors selected high school teachers throughout Southern Arizona who exemplify the best the teaching profession has to offer. Finalists will receive a commemorative ring and tickets to a UA men's basketball game and will be featured in a special Ch. 13 KOLD newscast. The winning teacher of the year will receive $1,000 for her school.
The following teachers were selected as finalists:

Connie Campbell - human services technology teacher, Catalina High Magnet School

Rich Mayorga - AP government, economics, history and world history teacher, Sunnyside High School

Allison Murphy - science teacher, Marana High School

Steven Reff - AP Economics/Free Enterprise/Business Technology, Pueblo High Magnet School
