Townsend Site of Hersheys
Kissmobile Visit and Fund-raiser for Student

Hersheys Kissmobile will make a visit on its 50,000-mile nationwide tour to Townsend
Middle School, 2120 N. Beverly Blvd., at about 10 a.m. on Nov. 16.
Hersheys Kissmobile, which resembles a row of three giant Hersheys Kisses
chocolates, will stop at the school where crew members will give away Hersheys Hugs
and Kisses to students and staff The tour also aims to raise awareness about the
Childrens Miracle Network, non-profit organization dedicated to helping children by
raising funds and awareness for 170 children's hospitals throughout North America.
Townsend is also serving as a fund-raiser site Jessica Jensen, a student at the school
who has a congenital heart defect, and her family. The school is raising money to help
Jessica and her family pay for medical services and other related costs.
Jessica and her parents will also participate in the Kissmobile visit. In addition,
Carlos Leon, a monitor at the school, will be riding 111 miles in El Tour de Tucson to
help raise $500 for Tu Niditos continued support of Jessica and her family. Tu
Nidito is a nonprofit organization which provides individual, family and group support
through special services to children and their families as they deal with serious illness
and death.
