Rogers Student To Receive National
Award During Holiday Program

A student from Rogers Elementary School, 6000 E. 15th St., will
receive a national award for her holiday drawing at the school’s holiday music
concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at Palo Verde High Magnet School, 1302 S. Avenida Vega.
As winner of the "Faces of Change Holiday Card Contest," Rachel Dykeman will
receive a $100 saving’s bond for her drawing, selected from more than 300 entries
nationwide. Rachel’s drawing will be printed on holiday cards, which will be
distributed nationwide through Crescent Real Estate. In addition, the school will receive
$100 for art supplies.
Rogers Elementary is the FACES of Change partner school of Canyon Ranch Health Resort
in Tucson. FACES of Change, sponsored by Crescent Real Estate Equities Limited
Partnership, celebrates the children and families of an outstanding, local elementary
school and the community, for their mutual benefit. Crescent partners with schools serving
children and families who can most benefit from a business/community
partnership—schools on a clear path to success, that promote and encourage parental
