Update: 1/8/21
Dear Parents, Students, Alumni & Community Members:
We would like to extend our warmest welcome to the start of Semester II for the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you for your commitment and we look forward to a fruitful and productive semester. I want to first update you about the instructional model for the foreseeable future. Although a vaccine has been created and plans for dissemination are ongoing, a date to return for full in-person instruction has not been defined. As always, we will work in coordination with TUSD and as dates become definitive, we will communicate with families. Please know that we continue to prioritize the health and wellness of our entire school community.
Over the holidays, we were able to review critical data and we are pleased with the improvement in results from Quarter 1 to Quarter 2. Please make necessary adjustments to be the best student possible so data continues to project positively. We ask that each of you focus on completing and submitting assignments the same day they are given to avoid mental stress and unnecessary time crunches. On our behalf, we are committed to working with staff to ensure health is a top priority, followed by a rigorous but equitable learning experience.
Seniors, it is crunch time. Failure is not an option as we are a mere months away from graduation. We must lock- in, focus and fulfill the legacy you promised yourself. Although the ecosystem for school has changed we must adapt and finish what we started. I am here for you should you need assistance.
Until next time, sincere prayers to the health of each of your families,
Much Love, R
